Benefit Dinner & Silent Auction for Charlie Frattini

Charlie Frattini, master builder and prime mover of the Rockport Public Library construction, suffered a debilitating and paralyzing stroke in January, with medical complications that remain only partially understood. At this time he remains in a medical care facility in Portland. Charlie and his wife Emily Gorecki have set the goal of completing renovations and making physical alterations to their historic house in Thomaston in order to make the home accessible and to allow Charlie to live there and exercise his skills to the best of his abilities.

The benefit spaghetti dinner and silent auction are intended to raise funds to allow these alterations to proceed as soon as possible. Additional medical expenses are also likely, so the funds raised will be used for both purposes.

Tickets are $25/individual or $50/family. Those wishing to make a donation to the auction can contact Megan Brackett: mbrackett@rockportmaine.gov or 207.706.4067

Charlie is a veteran of the Marine Corps and and was at Ground Zero on 9/11, assisting firefighters and other first responders. He has hosted or starred in various television productions. Charlie has also worked in numerous home renovations for Veterans as well as others in need. As Director of General Contracting at Phi Builders and Architects in Rockport, he played a key role in all aspects of the construction of the recently completed Rockport Public Library.

Those wishing to contribute but unable to attend the dinner may do so from the ticket link or mail a check to Megan Brackett, Rockport Town Hall, 101 Main St., Rockport, ME 04856. Checks should be made out to Charlie Frattini.
